Madame Destiny Megaways has a pretty standard Megaways layout. It features six reels with 2 - 7 symbols of varying sizes on reels 1 - 6, while reels 2 - 5 can hold up to 8 symbols as they have an extra reel above them. This reel spins independently from the others and moves from right to left.

The lower-paying symbols are the 10, J, Q, and K. These pay up to 1x your bet. The A and tarot cards are worth up to 1.25x your stake, and the candles pay up to 1.50x your stake, and the candles pay up to 1.50x your stake. The potion is worth up to 2x your bet.

Land the cat or owl symbols to win up to 3.75x or 20x your stake. The Madame Destiny symbol is the Wild, and her crystal ball is the Scatter. I’ll explain how these work below.

How You Win

You need to match three or more symbols on adjacent reels to win. Like any Megaways slot, Madame Destiny Megaways changes the number of ways to win on each spin. The maximum number is 200,704.

Bonus Features

The range of bonuses in Madame Destiny Megaways won’t blow experienced players away — they’re not particularly original or fresh. But they still add more depth to the game and bring you extra chances to win.

The Madame Destiny Wild card substitutes for all other symbols except the Scatter. Wilds only land on reels 2 - 6, and they double the value of any winning combos they appear in.

All symbols in a winning combo disappear, the rest tumble down the grid, and new symbols fill empty positions. If any of these movements create new symbol matches, you’ll win again on the same spin and trigger another Tumble. Wins can keep coming until no new winning combos appear.

If you land 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters anywhere, you’ll win 5x, 10x, 20x, or 100x your bet, respectively. Three or more Scatters trigger the Free Spins feature, too.

A wheel of fortune spins at the start of the round to reveal how many free spins you’ve won and award a multiplier to enhance your wins. You can win 5, 8, 10, or 12 free spins with x2, x3, x5, x8, x10, x15, x20, or x25 multipliers. These multipliers apply to the overall win for each free spin.

You can retrigger the feature with three or more Scatters. The wheel of fortune spins again with each retrigger to reveal your free spins and multiplier. I was thrilled to find there’s no limit on how many times you can retrigger the round so that it can continue!

Use the Ante Bet to add more Scatters to the reels and double your chances of triggering the Free Spins feature. However, this increases your bet by 25%.

You can instantly trigger the Free Spins feature if you pay 100x your bet, but only with the Ante Bet switched off.

Max Win, You Can Expect?

The maximum win available is 5,000x your bet. For me, that seems pretty low for a Megaways slot. For instance, Rasputin Megaways offers more than 68,000x your bet, and Blood Suckers Megaways has a max win of over 20,000x.

How RTP Affects Payouts

Madame Destiny Megaways’ theoretical RTP is 96.56%, increasing to 96.67% with the Ante Bet and Buy Free Spins features. Both RTPs are well above the industry average.

The volatility is high, which is no surprise for a Megaways slot. When I played the game, I set my stake at $1 and won once every few spins on average. Payouts were generally low, though, and rarely went above $4. Fortunately, the Tumble feature helped push my wins a little higher sometimes.

Our Verdict

Madame Destiny Megaways impressed me with its rich atmosphere and graphics, but there’s more to it than that. The Tumble feature can lead to win after win on any spin, and it worked well for me a few times while playing (though my prizes were still small).

The Free Spins feature is designed well, with win multipliers of up to x25 and the potential for unlimited retriggers. The theoretical base RTP is reasonable at 96.56%, and increases with the optional Ante Bet and Buy Free Spins feature active.

Unfortunately, your bet's top win of 5,000 is smaller than you might expect if you’ve played other Megaways slots. This might not be for you if you prefer to spin for bigger wins. Otherwise, Madame Destiny Megaways is a solid slot that doesn’t bring anything new but still does what it does very well.
