10 Swords has a more conventional setup than some of Push Gaming’s other slots: a 5x3 grid with 20 fixed paylines. Here’s how to get started:
10 Swords uses the same controls found in some other Push Gaming slots, and their clean layout makes it easy to dive in.

The golden eagle doubles as the Wild symbol. This stands in for other symbols, except the Scatter and sword symbols, to help you win prizes.
The shield Scatter symbol can land anywhere on the reels and trigger the Free Spins feature.
Get 3, 4, or 5 Scatters anywhere to win 8, 10, or 12 free spins, respectively. Four Scatters will also convert two low-paying symbols into a sword symbol, while five Scatters will transform four low symbols instead.
During the Free Spins round, any Scatters that appear will be collected on the Low Symbol Meter on the left-hand side of the reels. Collect four Scatters towards a low symbol on the meter to turn all instances of the corresponding symbol into sword symbols. You’ll also win extra free spins after converting symbols.

The volatility is in the low-medium range, and I won pretty often when testing the game. However, the prizes were generally as small as expected (rarely above $4 on a $1 bet).
I was impressed by 10 Swords’ visuals from the moment I started playing. The ancient Rome setting is fairly generic, but it’s detailed, bright, and colourful. Subtle animations add movement to the background, such as the embers rising from a smouldering fire and clouds passing by overhead.
