Cosmic Cash is another slick, well-designed slot from Pragmatic Play with a simple 5x4 layout. It was developed to play on a computer, smartphone, or tablet for convenient cross-platform compatibility. Whichever device you use, here’s how to play Cosmic Cash:
Like other Pragmatic Play slots, Cosmic Cash features straightforward controls arranged on a clear command panel at the bottom of the screen. The Spin button is the biggest and most important: tap it to spin the reels manually.If you prefer to play with automatic spins instead, press the Autoplay button to program up to 1,000 spins.
You can open the paytable at any time with the ‘i’ button. The paytable covers all the paylines, symbol payouts, and bonus features, so check it out before you start playing. Setting your bet is easy, too: push the ‘+’ or ‘-’ button to increase or decrease it, respectively.
The Cosmic Cash paytable has 15 symbols: 12 standard symbols, a Wild, a Scatter, and a Money symbol. The standard symbols include royals, a ray gun, a rocket ship, three aliens, and a glamorous astronaut with pink hair.
The royal symbols (9, 10, J, Q, K, and A) all award 1.25x your bet for 5. The ray gun and rocket ship pay 1.87x your bet for 5, and the two aliens offer 2.5x each. The astronaut is worth 3.75x your stake for 5, while the giant green alien offers a top payout of 5x your bet.
The flying saucer symbol is the Wild, which pays up to 12.50x your bet. The Cosmic Cash logo is the Scatter: get 3, 4, or 5 to win 1x, 5x, or 50x your bet.
Cosmic Cash has 40 paylines. You need to match three, four, or five identical symbols on any of these lines to win. The Scatter symbol pays for three or more anywhere, but all the other symbols must be on adjacent reels to award a win.
I expect a few decent bonus features in Pragmatic Play slots, and Cosmic Cash doesn’t disappoint. The Money symbol is here, as seen in other Pragmatic Play slots like Ice Lobster and Clover Gold. This can trigger the Cosmic Respins feature, with a Free Spins bonus to unlock.
The flying saucer Wild can stand in for other symbols (except the Scatter and Money symbols) to complete winning combos. It can land anywhere on the reels during the base game and Free Spins round.
The Money symbol, in the form of a cratered planet, can land on any reel. The Money symbol has a random value selected from a pre-defined set on each spin. This ranges from 0.375x to 100x your bet. This plays a big part in the Cosmic Respins feature.
Six or more Money symbols trigger the Cosmic Respins feature. This is played on special reels that contain only Money symbols and blanks. All Money symbols that trigger the feature move to either the right or bottom of the screen, depending on whether you play in landscape or portrait mode.
You’ll receive three respins at the start, but the number of remaining respins resets to three whenever a symbol hits. Near each reel, you’ll see a flying saucer carrying one of the following awards:
Each time a symbol hits, it moves toward the end of the screen, and the flying saucer beside it adds an extra empty position. Each flying saucer can add up to two more positions on their respective reel. When you fill the reels with Money symbols, a flying saucer only releases its award to you.
Match 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols to win 10, 20, or 50 free spins, respectively. You can retrigger the feature to get another 10, 20, or 50 extra spins.
This feature uses special reels containing more stacked Wilds on reels 2, 3, and 4.

The max win available in Cosmic Cash is 2,650x your bet. If you play at the maximum $200 stake, that’s a potential top prize of $530,000.

The volatility is high, so most payouts are likely minor, though there is also the potential for pretty generous wins. When I played Cosmic Cash, I won more often than expected. However, the prizes were generally low, and by the time I finished, I was far from breaking even on my bets, let alone profiting.
When I first loaded Cosmic Cash, I loved its graphics and sound. The visuals are an absolute treat, with a retro sci-fi style, fun characters, and plenty of color.
The exciting music and sound effects are also clearly inspired by classic sci-fi movies. I especially enjoyed the sweet sounds the aliens make when appearing in a winning combination.

I had a great time playing Cosmic Cash, and it might be one of my favourite Pragmatic Play slots. The theming is terrific, from the spacey background to the three great aliens that appear throughout the game. Overall, the graphics and sound are of a high standard and have plenty of charm.
One of the definite highlights is the Cosmic Respins feature, with its expanding reels and various awards. The Free Spins feature is a bit more generic, but dozens of spins are up for grabs. It’s a shame the max win is on the low side, especially for a highly volatile slot, and the symbol values are generally small, too.
But if you keep that in mind before you dive in, Cosmic Cash is still well worth a play.
