Danger High Voltage

Big Time Gaming invites you to lighten the dance floor in the Danger High Voltage Online Slot. This brightly coloured game has an unusual theme that I needed clarification on. An animated background with disco lights is the background for metal reels where a mixture of Mexican and disco-inspired icons appears as symbols. The soundtrack is the 2002 smash hit song, Danger! High Voltage, by the US band Electric Six. A couple of modifiers keep the base game rewarding, and you get to choose your free spins path for prizesworth over $600k.

Our Verdict:

The Danger High Voltage slot has an odd theme but a lot of solid gameplay to back it up when I investigated further and checked the lyrics of Danger! High Voltage, I realized that they mentioned all the game’s symbols that seemed out of place initially, but even without this knowledge, this is still a fun game. You don’t have to be a fan of the band to realize that the random wild and multiplier reels create great chances for big wins and that the free spin rounds let you choose the path you think will get you to the top prize of $629,840. RTP and Variance

This is a medium volatility slot, so you should see about as many winning spins as losing ones. Regarding the RTP, you’re looking at a figure of 95.67%, a little below the industry average but still a good enough indication that the returns on your bets should be fair to good.

How to Play

The game’s controls are arranged to the right of the reels. These allow you to spin, set Autoplay, change your bet, and access the menu and paytable. Landing three or more matching symbols gets you a win, except for the skull symbol, which only needs a matching pair to pay out.

Bonus Features

Wild Reels

Two types of wild reels can randomly trigger on any base game spin. The fire version can fill reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 with a stacked wild, and the High Voltage version does the same thing but with a 6x multiplier for even more electrifying winning power.

Free Spins

Landing three or more scatter symbols anywhere on the reels will get you into the free spins bonus. If you’re lucky enough to land six scatters, you will also get a prize worth 100x of your stake.

You will then be asked to choose between Gates of Hell free spins or High Voltage free spins. If you go with Gates of Hell Free Spins, you get seven free spins where one symbol will be chosen to transform into a sticky wild that stays on the reels until the feature ends. If you fill a reel with sticky wilds, the game will reward you with another three free spins. Choose High Voltage Free Spins for 15 free spins where High Voltage wild reels will have boosted multipliers of 11x, 22x, 33x, 44x, 55x or 66x. Agent Jane Blonde Max Volume and King Tusk are other games offering free spin choices to match your playing style.

Free Play or Demo Play

Playing a free demo version of an online slot is the best way to get familiar with the gameplay while not spending any of your money. The Danger High Voltage Demo allowed me to try both free spin modes, and Gates of Hell ended up being my favourite because the sticky wilds kept building up to bring me bigger wins with every following free spin.
