Like the first game, Fire Strike 2 is a classic-themed game based on traditional slot machines. The setup is familiar and straightforward: 5 reels with three rows and ten paylines. Here’s how to start playing:
You should be familiar with the interface and controls if you've played other Pragmatic Play slots. The command panel at the bottom of the screen has all the buttons you need to play.

You’ll play with 14 fiery symbols in Fire Strike 2. Most of them are inspired by traditional slot symbols, including lucky 7s, BARs, and bells.
At the bottom of the paytable, any combination of 7 symbols pays 5x your bet for 5. The flaming die and playing cards also pay up to 5x your bet.
Payouts get a little bump with the casino chips and cash stacks, awarding up to 10x your bet each. The bell is worth 12.50x your stake, and the single BAR pays up to 15x your stake.
The double and triple BAR symbols pay up to 20x and 25x your bet, respectively. At the top of the paytable, the blue 7, purple 7, and red seven offer up to 30x, 50x, and 100x your stake, respectively.
A Wild symbol, a Firestrike symbol, and a Scatter symbol can hit on any spin, too. I’ll explain how these work below.
In Fire Strike 2, you must land 3, 4, or 5 matching symbols on any of the ten paylines to win a prize on the paytable. But the Firestrike Bonus and Firestrike Wild Jackpot allow you to pick up much bigger prizes, too.
It’s easy to assume Fire Strike 2 is a pretty shallow slot when you load it for the first time, but it has more depth than you might expect. That’s thanks to the Firestrike Bonus, Firestrike Wild Jackpot, and Free Spins feature.
The Fire Strike 2 Wild symbol pays 25x, 50x, and 200x your bet for 3, 4, and 5 in a winning combination. It can land on all reels and substitutes for all symbols.

During the Free Spins feature, land 5 to 14 Firestrike Wild symbols to win between 1x and 5,000x your bet. You can also win the jackpot during this feature if you get 15 Firestrike or Firestrike Wild symbols. Every Firestrike symbol that lands has a random chance to become sticky and stay in place for the rest of the round.
Fire Strike 2 offers a max win of 25,000x your stake as with the original. That’s much higher than I expected in a retro-style slot, especially one with medium volatility. The chances of hitting that jackpot payout are very slim, so keep that in mind before you start playing.
Fire Strike 2 has a theoretical Return to Player (RTP) of 96.53%. That’s higher than the 96% average for slots, so there’s a chance to win more often than in games with lower RTPs.
As the volatility is medium, Fire Strike 2 can pay out regularly, and there’s the potential for some massive wins. In my experience, winning combos were a little more sporadic than I expected. Payouts were usually between $0.50 and $2.
Fire Strike 2 is based on primary slot machines, but the visuals are more detailed and dynamic than similar games.
When featured in a winning combo, the symbols become animated, and an excellent light shines between the reels each time you spin. Smouldering embers constantly rise from the bottom of the screen on either side of the reels. These little touches combine to give Fire Strike a surprisingly exciting aesthetic.
