I was a little disappointed by the standard symbols in Genie Jackpots Megaways, mainly because they looked a little more basic than I’d expected. Six of them are royals on a beige background: 9, 10, J, Q, K, and A. The other four are a pair of swords, a turban, a treasure chest, and the game’s logo.
Thankfully, the bonus symbols are brighter and more colourful than the standard ones. The 9, 10, and J symbols pay 0.5x your bet for 6. The Q, K, and A are worth 1x your bet for 6.
If you land six sword or turban symbols, you’ll scoop 2.5x your stake. The treasure chest pays 5x your stake for 6, and the logo is the top symbol: get 25x your stake for 6 (which isn’t much for a high-paying symbol).
The maximum number of ways to win is lower here than in many other Megaways games: 15,625. I’m used to playing Megaways slots with up to 117,649 ways to win instead. Still, it’s much more than you’ll find in countless other slots!
You'll win a cash prize if you can land three, four, five, or six matching symbols on adjacent reels. The logo symbol is the only one to pay for two or more.

Genie Jackpots Megaways has decent graphics, but the presentation isn’t as dynamic or fun as it could be. The background scene shows mountain peaks with clouds drifting across a starry night sky, with the Genie’s lamp in the corner. The Genie appears from time to time, which gives the game more personality and increases the excitement.
