Mythical creatures are common in online slot themes, but the mighty griffin hardly ever gets to be the star of the show, so I was pleased to find Griffin’s Throne by IGT, with medium volatility gameplay and a crazy multi-million dollar top potential prize. Multiplier Pillar
To activate this visually impressive feature, you need to land at least 1 sun symbol on the reels. All instances of the highest value Griffin symbol will become locked in place as well as any wild symbols in view. The reels where the Sun symbol has landed will grow into huge 12-row pillars that contain stacks of 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x multiplier wilds, along with stacks of regular wild symbols. The game will generate a re-spin where only the symbol pillars and non-locked symbols spin.

The game’s true potential lies in the free spins round that you can trigger by landing at least 3 scatters on the same spin.
You will begin with 10 free spins on an extended reel set of 12 rows high. This boosts your paylines from 30 to 90 and landing 2 or 3 new scatters during the feature will award you an extra 3 or 10 free spins, respectively. You can still activate the multiplier pillar during the bonus round.
