Hyper Star’s symbols look great on the reels, and their bright colors make sure they stand out against the reels’ dark background. There are cherries, golden bells, casino chips, suit symbols, dice, and more, each with its own payouts.
Starting at the bottom of the paytable, the clubs, diamonds, hearts, and spades pay up to 0.8x, 1.6x, 2x, and 2.4x your stake, respectively.
Moving on to the higher symbols, you’ll win up to 2.5x your bet if you build a winning combination of cherries. The dice symbols award up to 3x your stake, and the casino chips pay up to 3.5x.
The bell is worth up to 4x your bet, and the dollar sign awards up to 5x. Get lucky 7 symbols to win up to 10x your stake.
But there are also two non-paying symbols: the Wild (a gold star) and Scatter (“Free Spins”).
Hyper Star has 243 ways to win. You need to match 3, 4, or 5 identical symbols on adjacent reels (starting from reel 1) to pick up prizes. The Wild symbol can help you win by standing in for other symbols.

Wild SymbolThe gold star is the Wild symbol. It can substitute for all other symbols, including the Scatter, to finish winning combos and trigger the Free Spins feature. Most Wilds tend not to stand in for Scatters, so it’s nice to see Hyper Star going in a different direction.
Rolling ReelsWhenever you land a winning combination, all symbols involved will be removed from the reels and new ones will drop in to replace them. That can line up a new set of winning symbols and top up your prize before your next paid spin. Rolling Reels can go on and on for as long as new matches form.
Hyper Star uses a progressive multiplier tied to the Rolling Reels feature. If you trigger a Rolling Reels sequence of wins, each consecutive win will take the multiplier higher.
It begins at x1 and increases by +1 on each consecutive win. The maximum multiplier is x5 in the base game. But in the Free Spins feature, the multiplier starts at x3 and can go as high as x15.
Free SpinsThe Free Spins feature triggers when three or more Scatters land anywhere. You could win as many as 32 free spins, as there are 8 for each triggering way.
More Wild symbols can appear during this feature, and you can retrigger it with another three or more Scatters.
JackpotsYou can win three fixed jackpots in Hyper Stars if you collect enough Wild symbols. Wilds are collected whenever they appear, and they could trigger the Jackpot Bonus at the end of a Rolling Reels sequence.
You’ll win the Minor (15x bet), Major (100x bet), or Grand (5,000x bet) jackpot.
The biggest prize available in Hyper Star is 7,250x your bet. The Rolling Reels and Multiplier Reel can both help you build up to the highest winnings. The Grand jackpot will take you close to the maximum win too.
Hyper Star’s theoretical Return to Player (RTP) is 94.10%. Unfortunately, that’s a drop from the 96% industry average, and means it may return around $0.94 for every $1.00 you bet. But it’s not an exact example of how much you can expect to get back — returns can be higher or lower than the RTP.
It’s a highly volatile slot too.Payouts can be very big, but they’re triggered less often on average than in slots with lower volatility.
