Game Interface & Controls

Game Symbols

Ice Lobster features 13 symbols, including ten standard symbols. All symbols fit the theme — even the royals have little hooks attached. Other symbols include a fishing rod, scoop net, bait box, life ring, and fisherman.

The royals pay the most minor prizes. The 10, J, and Q are worth up to 2.50x your bet, and the A and K pay up to 5x each. The scoop net and fishing rod pay up to 10x and 25x your stake, respectively.

The life ring awards up to 25x your bet, and the bait box offers up to 50x. Finally, the fisherman awards up to 100x your stake. There’s also a Wild, a Scatter, and a Money symbol.

How to Win

Like most other 5x3 slots, Ice Lobster pays out for three, four, or five matching symbols on a payline. Prizes depend on the symbols matched and how many make up a winning combination. Wild symbols can substitute for standard symbols and help you line up wins.

Bonus Features

Ice Lobster has just one bonus feature: the Free Spins round. But there’s more to it than the average Free Spins bonus, thanks to the Money symbol and increasing multipliers.

1. Wild Symbol

The golden fish symbol is Wild. It substitutes for all standard symbols (not the Scatter or Money symbols) and can hit on any reel. The Wild pays 2.50x, 10x, and 100x your bet for 3, 4, or 5 in a winning combo, respectively.

2. Free Spins

Get 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols anywhere to win 8, 12, or 15 free spins, respectively. The positions containing these Scatters remain marked for the entire feature.

If a new Scatter symbol lands, its position is marked, and one extra free spin is awarded. When Money symbols land on marked positions, their value is collected and paid.

When six positions are marked, any Money symbol values collected will be multiplied by x2. This increases to x3 when ten or more marked positions appear on the reels.

Ice Lobster’s max win is 5,000x your stake. That’s pretty decent, but plenty of highly volatile slots offer more significant potential payouts. With its Money symbols and multipliers, the Free Spins feature can increase your chances of reeling in bigger wins.

The RTP is above average at 96.53%, but the high volatility means you could wait a long time for the more generous payouts. Overall, I enjoyed playing Ice Lobster.
