Sweet Bonanza 1000 is a revamped version of Pragmatic Play’s original Sweet Bonanza slot. The graphics and features are virtually identical, but Sweet Bonanza 1000 includes a higher max win of 25,000x your stake and win multipliers of up to 1,000x. With the Tumble feature, you can line up multiple wins across the 6x5 grid on the same spin, and there’s a Free Spins feature with Multiplier symbols to try.
You can also use an additional Buy Feature option to jump right into the Free Spins round (for a price). The setting is the same storybook Candyland as in the original game, so be prepared to feel hungry if you have a sweet tooth!

Sweet Bonanza 1000 features the same interface and controls as the original version. You’ll find the buttons at the bottom of the screen on a semi-transparent bar.
The white Spin button spins the reels, and the Autoplay button attached opens the Autoplay menu. Tap the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons on either side to adjust your stake. You can change your bet between spins in the base game but not in the bonus feature.
Use the ‘i’ button to open the paytable, which features the various symbols and information on the bonuses. Press the gear icon to open the settings menu to activate quick spins and make other changes. Finally, tap the speaker icon to turn the sound on and off.
The symbols in Sweet Bonanza 1000 are mainly candy and fruits. There are nine standard symbols: red candy, purple candy, green candy, blue candy, apple, plum, watermelon, grapes, and banana.
The banana is the lowest-paying symbol, worth up to 2x your bet. The grapes, watermelon, plum, and apple award up to 4x, 5x, 8x, and 10x your stake, respectively.
Payouts increase with the candy symbols. The blue candy pays up to 12x your bet, the green candy pays up to 15x your bet, and the purple candy pays up to 25x your bet. The red heart-shaped candy is the top standard symbol, worth up to 50x your stake.
The lollipop Scatter symbol awards up to 100x your bet. This can trigger the Free Spins feature. There’s also a Multiplier symbol, which only appears in the Free Spins round.
Sweet Bonanza 1000 has no paylines: symbols pay anywhere on the screen. Land eight or more of the same symbol on the grid simultaneously to win a payout shown on the paytable. The Tumble feature triggers after each win, giving you a chance to win again on the same spin.
I liked the bonus features in Sweet Bonanza, and I’m glad to see them return in this revamp (especially with higher-value Multiplier symbols).
Tumbling (or cascading) reels are always welcome in a slot, and it’s a great touch in Sweet Bonanza 1000. Whenever you land eight or more matching symbols, you win a prize, and those winning symbols disappear.
New symbols tumble in from the top to fill the empty positions. If that creates a win, another Tumble triggers to give you another chance to win. There’s no limit on the number of Tumbles per spin.
Get four or more Scatter symbols anywhere to win ten free spins. You'll win another five spins if you match another three or more Scatters on a free spin.
In the Free Spins feature, multiplier symbols appear as colourful bombs. They may land anywhere and stay on the screen until the current Tumble sequence ends.
Each time a Multiplier symbol lands, it has one of the following multiplier values (chosen at random): 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 100x, or 1,000x.
If more than one Multiplier symbol is on the reels, all their values are combined at the end of the current Tumble sequence. The total wins of the sequence are multiplied by that final value for a potentially massive prize.
The Buy Free Spins option instantly triggers the bonus feature, but it costs 100x your stake.
For 500x your bet, you can trigger the Super Free Spins feature. All Multiplier symbols have a multiplier value of at least 20x in this enhanced round.
You can use the Ante Bet option to double your chance of organically triggering the Free Spins feature. This increases your stake by 25% and disables the Buy Free Spins and Buy Super Free Spins options.
The top payout in Sweet Bonanza 1000 is a vast 25,000x your bet or a staggering $6 million if playing at the maximum $240.00 stake. This is bigger than the original Sweet Bonanza’s max win of 21,100x.
Sweet Bonanza 1000’s theoretical RTP is 96.53%, well above the 96% average. But if you use the Ante Bet, Buy Free Spins, or Buy Super Free Spins options, the RTP will change to 96.50%, 96.52%, or 96.55%, respectively.
The game has high volatility, which isn’t surprising with such a big max win available. When I tested Sweet Bonanza 1000, I managed to land payouts regularly, with a few decent Tumble sequences. However, most prizes were small (often a few dollars or less).
I loved Sweet Bonanza’s design, and I’m happy to say this revamp is just as gorgeous. The Candyland setting is alive with vibrant colours and fun details, with upside-down ice cream cones, lollipops, frosting, and candies arranged beautifully to form a world you want to devour.
Helpful messages appear above the grid (“symbols pay anywhere on the screen”), and the symbols look terrific. The music is cheerful and sweet, just like the rest of the game!
