How to Win

Tombstone RIP is played on a 2-3-3-3-1 reel formation, creating 108 ways to win. On the last reel, all symbols count as two symbols, and only high-value symbols appear. Tombstone RIP follows a ways-to-win system, meaning wins are awarded when matching symbols land on adjacent reels from left to right.

Bonus Features

Tombstone RIP has brutal, high-potential bonus features, including two versions of free spins and split symbols.

1. nudge Wilds

Special stacked wild symbols will constantly be nudged to be fully visible whenever they land. Each position they are nudged by adds +1 to a progressive multiplier. Nudge Wilds can only land on the three middle reels.

Stacked wilds will always get nudged.

2. Splitting Wilds

Splitting Wilds land on the middle three reels and split themselves and all symbols on the reel they landed on, doubling winnings.

Tombstone RIP split symbols
Split symbols give you a winning boost.

Split Wilds, which is only on reel 5, always counts as two symbols. When an Split Wildlands, it will slice symbols in rows to the left of it in four different ways. Symbols that have already been split will be split again. If a nudge Wild is split, its multiplier will double.

3. Trip

If you land a winning combination in the base or bonus game worth less than your bet, the xRIP feature will cancel the payout.

4. Free Spins

Tombstone RIP has two different scatter symbols that trigger two unique free spin modes with multipliers and upgrades.

Tombstone RIP scatters
The two scatter symbols.

Hang 'em High scatters only land on the three middle reels, and the Boothill scatter symbol only lands on the last reel. If you land 3 Hang 'em High scatters on the same spin, you will trigger  8 Hang 'em High Free Spins. If you only land 2 Hang 'em High scatters, they will transform into Reel Split Wilds.

During Hang 'em High Free Spins, a progressive multiplier will be active that increases when Wilds, Reel Split Wilds, xSplit Wilds, or xNudge Wilds land. The multiplier is active throughout the feature and will not reset between spins. If Boothill scatter lands during this free spins feature, you will get two extra free spins, and the round will upgrade to Boothill Free Spins.

If you land 3 Hang 'em High scatters and a Boothill scatter on the same spin, you will get 10 Boothill Free Spins. Any Boothill scatter that lands without triggering Free Spins will transform into a special Cowboy symbol that also works as a wild with a random multiplier of 5x-999x.

Tombstone RIP boothill
The game’s maximum potential emerges during Boothill Free spins.

During Boothill Free Spins,  the Cowboy symbol on the last reel will transform all instances of the same symbol in view into wilds, and a random multiplier of 5x-999x will be added to a random Cowboy symbol.

5. Bonus Buy

You can immediately trigger free spins when you 'bonus buy' by purchasing them for 70x or 3,000x your bet.

Max Wins You Can Expect

Tombstone RIP has an astounding 300,000x maximum win potential for your bet. The only way to claim this eye-watering prize is to trigger the Boothill Free spins round.

RTP and Volatility

RTP (Return to Player) is the theoretical, statistical percentage that indicates how much a slot game is expected to pay back to players over time. The (RTP) of Tombstone RIP is 96.08%, which is almost the same as the industry average. This slot comes with extremely high volatility, meaning big wins are possible, but they may take time to land.

Audio & Visual Impact

Tombstone RIP  features dark, Western-inspired visuals with sometimes violent animations and haunting background country music that create an intense and immersive atmosphere. The gritty art style, combined with brutal sound effects, enhances the feeling of danger and excitement.

Play for Free

Gain the gift of experience with free slot demos. Demos are copies of real-money slot games that allow you to bet with free virtual credits instead of your bankroll. This means you can play as many spins as you want without risking any of your cash.

Comparing Tombstone RIP to Similar Games

Dark and gritty slots appeal to the more sinister side of our nature with themes that are horrific, suspenseful, and sometimes disturbing.

A monster from Greek mythology is the show's star in Cash Flip Medusa, and prizes worth up to $246k are possible per spin. Loki Power Combo takes you into Norse mythology, watch powerful modifiers combine during free spins to deliver winning opportunities! Outlaws Inc. introduces you to a biker gang of cartoon animals in a post-apocalyptic world with million-dollar prizes.

Pros:

  • Unique mechanics like xNudge and xSplit for massive win potential.
  • Immersive theme with top-notch graphics and sound design.
  • Huge maximum win potential of 300,000x.
VS

Cons:

  • The brutal theme might not suit some players’ tastes.

Our Findings

Tombstone RIP is a game with a savagely executed theme and astronomical win potential, but neither the theme nor the volatility is for the weak of the heart. I’m a big fan of slots with odd themes, and this game delivers uniqueness when it comes to visuals and bonus features. The massive win potential might be irresistible to most, but the violent theme could make some players turn away.
